Bylaws & Process
Bylaws
The GPSA Grant Bylaws govern the entire grants process, including grant requirements, eligibility, scoring criteria, perspectives, and appealing. Please refer to these bylaws if you have specific questions about procedure or requirements, as the Grants Committee bases all their decisions on these bylaws. The full bylaws can be downloaded as a PDF.
Process
The GPSA grants process has been designed to be easy for students to receive funding, while at the same time giving students the opportunity to learn how to write an effective grant proposal. It involves three main stages: application submission (4 weeks during an open grant cycle); reading and scoring (4-6 weeks); and award notification, acceptance, and appeals (4-6 weeks after deadline).
